Oceanco’s Kairos 80m Super Yacht: A Pininfarina Masterpiece

Renowned Italian design house Pininfarina, celebrated for its work with Ferrari, has unveiled the Kairos 80, a breathtakingly elegant superyacht concept. This impressive vessel is part of Oceanco’s Simply Custom collection, designed to make the commissioning process easier by using a proven naval platform created by Lateral Naval Architects. Kairos 80 is founded on a previous 90-meter (295-foot) yacht design created by the trio in 2021, which has been adapted to align with the Collection.

Designer Daniele Mazzon calls the concept “a peaceful oasis for relaxing and enjoying time at your own pace.” A standout feature of Kairos 80 is its “360-degree” design philosophy, which seeks to immerse passengers in the beauty of the sea and sky. This is achieved through the yacht’s distinctive silhouette, with each deck showcasing unique contours and elegant, darkened windows that stretch the length of the vessel.

Although interior renderings are not yet fully revealed, drawings suggest a white, open-plan layout with large windows that fill the space with natural light.

The Kairos 80 boasts an array of luxurious amenities, including an aft helipad, a stylish bar, a rejuvenating hot tub on the forward sundeck, and a spacious beach club at the stern, complete with a large swimming pool, sunpads, and loungers. “The owner and their guests are at the epicentre of the onboard experience, and the surrounding space,” Mazzon explained.

Every yacht in the Simply Custom range will come with a cutting-edge, all-electric propulsion and energy system, showing a strong commitment to sustainable luxury cruising.
