Audemars Piguet
KAWS is bringing his signature art style to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon with a new “COMPANION” version of the flagship haute horologerie timepiece. Featuring a 43mm case in sandblasted titanium, the watch features a balck ceramic cown with a titanium chip, double glareproofed sapphire crystal, and a sapphire caseback.
The watch comes fitted to a light grey calfskin leather strap and a second strap with a textile effect grey calfskin leather has also been included. KAWS also updated the watch’s signature bolts with his signature “X” motif and inside a miniature COMPANION finished in shades of grey finds itself trapped inside. The watch also features a sunburst titanium dial plate, titanium hands, and hour-markers with blue lume. Inside is AP’s hand-wound Calibre 2979, which has a 72-hour power reserve and black-PVD titanium bridges.
