EMSCULPT NEO Review #Ad – A Little Luxury For Me

EMSCULPT NEO is considered a breakthrough in non-invasive body shaping.  It’s a revolutionary new procedure which simultaneously delivers heat and magnetic energy.  It aims to result in more fat reduction and more muscle growth compared to any single gold standard product.  That’s quite a claim, but I’d been impressed by EMSCULPT when I tried out a course of that treatment last year.  I was really interested to see what difference the heat would make and how the treatment had been developed to deliver EMSCULPT NEO.

I had my EMSCULPT NEO treatment at Dermoperfection.  Dermoperfection is the ultimate destination for premium cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in the Mailbox, Birmingham City Centre. With over 12 industry years of experience and more than 30,000 successful treatments performed, Dermoperfection deliver great results and a friendly, professional service.

How it works

In less than 4 minutes the temperature, in the targeted area of fat, reaches levels that cause permanent damage to fat cells.  As well as targeting the fat cells, the muscle temperature raises in a similar way to warming up before a workout.

The muscles in the treated area are contracted at intensities that aren’t achievable during routine exercise and yet you don’t need to put any effort in.  After treatment the fat cells are slowly removed from the body and the strained muscle fibres initiate a growth process.  This results in fat elimination and muscle building.

EMSCULPT NEO has more applicators available, so you can target more areas of your body.  You can choose to focus on your abdomen, buttocks, thighs, biceps, triceps or calves.  It’s suitable for patients with a BMI of up to 35 and there is no downtime afterwards.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment typically takes around 30 minutes per session, and most patients require a series of treatments to achieve optimal results. The number of sessions needed depends on the patient’s individual goals and the areas being treated. I opted for a course of treatments for my tummy muscles and I had four sessions of half an hour each over a period of two weeks.

What’s the treatment like?

The paddles are attached to your body with a belt.  There’s a slightly different setup if you want to tackle your love handles, but it’s the same principle.  It’s quick and easy to get set up, which means that your appointment doesn’t drag on – you could easily fit this in during your lunch break say.  Then the temperature starts to rise and the pulses of magnetic energy start.  The heat feels pleasantly warm and is never uncomfortable.  The intensity of the pulses are taken up gradually. as you get used to the feel of the treatment.

There are three phases: pulses of activity, a sustained longer pulse and then the muscles are tapped to encourage lactic acid to disperse. I found it easy to build up to 100{6036d1da27a1d3b5aa2f18d9e8df5a860af5f1dff3a0fe6451ed182baa94fd4e} intensity, possibly because I’ve previously done a course of EMSCULPT or maybe because I’m reasonably fit as I’m a regular swimmer. After the session there was a feeling of warmth in my abdomen for a while afterwards, but there was no muscle soreness or tiredness.

What were the results?

I can’t tell you how pleased I am.  I’ve had a number of unsolicited complements about weight loss by a number of different people in different circumstances.  I haven’t weighed myself, but I’ve clearly lose some of the bulk around my middle.  My clothes fit better and I can get into things I haven’t been able to for a while.  It’s also had a positive effect on my swimming as I do feel stronger in the core area. I’d certainly consider having the treatment on another area of my body as it’s been such a positive experience.

Disclosure:  I was given a course of treatment for the purposes of this review.
