Based on the R 12 nineT, BMW Motorrad introduces the 2025 R 12 S, a retro-inspired bike inspired by the R 90 S from 1973. Featuring a “Daytona Package,” the bike is finished in Lava Orange Metallic Paint and features a cockpit fairing, a short rear tail with integrated LED lighting, a black license plate frame attached to the swing arm, Option 719 Classic II wheels with wire spokes and naturally anodized aluminum rims, and a Billet Pack Shadow package that includes milled “shadow” finish components.
When it comes to performance, the bike is powered by a 1,170cc engine that produces 109 hp and 85 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual and a hydraulically single-disk dry clutch, the R 12 S gets from 0-62 in just 3.6 seconds and can hit a top speed of 136 mph. Additional features include Hill Start Assist, Headlight Pro, Shift Assistant Pro, single seat and rear hump cover, heated grips, and cruise control.
Available in 2025.
