The UR-150 Scorpio boasts a case size of 42.5mm in width, 52.31mm in length, and 14.79mm in thickness. It is available in two distinct versions: the Titan model, which combines sandblasted and shot-blasted titanium and steel for the case, and the Dark version, which features the same titanium finishes but adds an anthracite PVD-treated steel component.
The UR-150 Scorpion’s dial is distinguished by an openworked hand with a vivid, luminous tip (green for Titan, red for Dark), a 240-degree minute track, and a rotating carousel of three domed hour discs. The UR-50.01 boasts an automatic winding mechanism regulated by a dual turbine system, which is built upon a Vaucher base movement and coupled with an in-house display module. With a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 43-hour power reserve, the skeletonized rotor, designed to control speed and absorb shocks, can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback.
The new Urwerk UR-150 Scorpion comes with a Kiska rubber strap, designed to reflect the watch’s namesake. Urwerk will release 50 pieces of each model, with the PVD-coated Dark priced at CHF 89,000 and the Titan at CHF 88,000.
